And the average income for both categories combined was $42,680 per year.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>I often wonder how many people there are working in ancillary industries</strong> that provide support and infrastructure for real estate brokers and agents.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Based on the number of phone calls that I get every day,</strong> there are apparently quite a few of them. But considering the available “piece of the pie” you have to wonder how many of these endeavors survive for more than a year or two.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Lead hawkers, website pushers, and zip code sellers</strong> all compete for what available money there is to be harvested. For most real estate brokers, purchasing any of these products or services is a leap of faith because we can’t validate the expense until a significant amount of time has passed.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>The perception that agents and brokers have huge amounts of marketing resources</strong> is typically false. He (or she) who hesitates is lost. Dealing with the “NEW” Internets is now an inescapable fact of business life.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>The dilemma now facing the tech savvy business</strong> is determining the center of the tipple. And if we use those archived stock images as accoutrements for our marketing, it can be easier to select the right photo if it is properly categorized.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>One of the basic categories that I use to pigeon-hole a picture</strong> is the season of the year. I have found that it is important to employ the correct season of the year in order to enhance the message and to minimize the distraction of an out-of-season image.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>If you want to stray from the season, there had better be a reason!</strong> Whether of not we mean for it to happen, the part of the brain that processes images is different from the area that interprets text. (There is also a level of service checkbox that allows this duty to be omitted.)</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Comply with all laws and regulations.</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Make all disclosures required by law.</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Unless a different instrument is used, </strong>or special stipulations or addendums are attached to the agreement, that’s it.
