It's Sunday morning, and I'm looking forward to another busy week in the Newnan Georgia area. Real estate has been picking up lately due to both the seasonal cycle and also new incentives for buyers.
Spring is typically a good time to sell property. Pleasant weather and spring blooms enhance the desirability of nicely landscaped homes. Houses just look better this time of year, before the heat of summer begins to scorch the greenery.
Combined with tax incentives for first time buyers, there seems to be a lot more activity than the same period last year. The phones are ringing with questions from those that are contemplating a purchase.
So I'll enjoy another day off today with my family, but tomorrow, I will roll up my sleeves and get back to work!
I love my job, especially when I have plenty to do!

Richard, I couldn't agree more. I went to bed early last night, exhausted from a week of whirlwind activity. I loved it! Busy makes me happy. I was talking to a fellow Rainer about that this week. If I have too much to do, I get more done! Congratulations on all your work.
Yeah, I have quite a bit to do this Sunday. It seems like lately my weekends are almost more busy than my weeks. I'm relishing the fact that there are things to do and hopefully some of them will eventually generate commissions. I figure I might be able to take a relaxing weekend sometime around August : )
Busy is good when you love what you do. My day is stacked with work but that is only because I slacked yesterday.
Richard, you are right. Fixin' to get ready for church and then a little R&R puttering in the garden...
Doing an open house after yoga -
I wanted to sleep in a little more today but the kids had a different plan. So here I am.
Richard, I am taking the day off as well to spend time with my family, but yesterday was a busy real estate day and the week is going to be busy as well. PLUS, we'll see more temps in the 50's and 60's ...in March...in Cleveland !!!
Richard,
You are so right this job is more fun when you are busy. I hope that you enjoy your time with the family and get well rested for a busy week ahead.
Richard, There's very little so important that it can't be put off until tomorrow. Rich
Richard, it's always good to be busy. Enjoy the day off with your family and have a great week.
It is important that we spend quality time with the ones we love also. Sometimes I am busy, but I always take off Sundays and it never intefers with my business. I always leave this day for my family to give them the time they deserve from me. It is hard to balance working as an agent with being a family man, but we must never forget our priorities, the ones we love being # 1. I commend you for taking the day off. You deserve it and enjoy.
Hi Richard, nice post on a beautiful spring morn. Tomorrow is way too far away to be thinking about. I left it pretty well in pace on Friday afternoon. I probably won't think about it until tomorrow when I awake. For now, I think I will enjoy the rest of the day, maybe some yard work.
Thanks
Bo
I slacked yesterday, so today I need to squeeze in a few things before I call it an early day!
Enjoy your family day!
I haven't been taking enough family time.
What a lovely photo!
Richard: I'm like you. I would rather be crazy busy than bored out of my mind. There is nothing like the feeling of putting in a truly full day of work.
Hi Richard... I love showing homes in the springtime. Nice sunny days, warmer tempeartures and thanks to daylight savings time we can show later into the evening and still see the house with natural light! Enjoy your day off... make it a great one!
It is good to take a day of rest! I took mine midweek so today I work! Enjoy your day!
The season is upon us my friend, enjoy your last day of rest.
Here in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago, spefically Winnetka, things are quiet. Everybody leaves for spring week during the last full week of March and the entire area empties out. People are off skiing, to Maui, to Florida, and so on. My big concern today was that this week would be so slow and I can't stand that. Well, guess what? I, too, will roll up my sleeves and get to work because there really is always something to do - even if everyone's gone.
Hey Richard,
today I worked on my landscaoe and lawn..no rest here. Now my sinuses are really acting up...darn allergies!
Good for you Richard. I spent the day recovering from being up too late at the scast party as chaperone for my daughter's high school musical. I am not used to those late night events any more!
