I have the pleasure of having out-of-town company this weekend, so I'm actually in a non-work mode for the first time in many years.
It feels funny to not be at the office, or answering calls, or doing paperwork. I guess that I have developed a serious case of "tunnel vision" over that period.
I have to keep telling myself: "It's all right to let it go" and "there's nothing wrong with taking a few days off!"
Plus, I'm getting plenty of good blogging material for the upcoming week. Well, there I go again ... always thinking about work!

Richard, enjoy your weekend! We all need to take time off once in a while! :)
Quit working....enjoy yourself. Take a deep breath. I certainly didn't expect to see any blogs from you. But, I should have known better. Can't wait to hear about your weekend. Have fun!
"It's all right to let it go" and "there's nothing wrong with taking a few days off!"
Richard...YOu may be surprised how refreshed you will feel. I know the feeling though. I always keep my phone handy...can't relax if I don't and a phone call or 2 never ruins a day off for me! I just let the caller know that they are important and I WILL get ack to them.
Richard,
Take time to smell the roses. The work will always be there when you get back! Enjoy your time off and quit thinking about work!! Relax and enjoy!!
One needs to learn BALANCE in life. Some work, some play, some rest. We all NEED some of each. now go relax and enjoy your visitors.. we will look forward to the upcoming posts about the visit.
Richard , well enjoy your weekend off and have some fun with your company this weekend.......peace zane
Richard, put work on the back burner and enjoy your weekend. You've have plenty of time to work next week. Enjoy the time with your Brothers.
My idea of taking time off is not working from the office, however I still work from home. My wife gets nuts on me because even standing in line at Disney I answer my phone and take care of business, "why not it is non-productive time anyway". Needless to say that doesn't fly well with the Mrs. I really need to shut down once in awhile.
Richard, this sounds like withdrawal pangs to me. But do enjoy yourself despite feeling that way.
Richard - relax, take it easy, you've earned it. After all, a few days off can't hurt, as long as your competitors don't know;^)
I know what you're tallking about... it feels like you're playing hookey and you'll be discovered at any moment. But it's okay... allow yourself to float down the mississippi for a while. There'll be plenty of time to work later.
Richard,
Have a wonderful and restful vacation....;-)

Richard: Blogging isn't work, is it? :) Maybe you could let your brothers do a guest post. Let them tell us about what it's like to have you as a brother.
Richard, we all need time off...ENJOY! When I was vacationing in Floriday six weeks ago, I found time each day to read and comment on AR posts..
I think I need to plan one of these soon. Don't know... where, but I'm feeling a get a way weekend in the making. Enjoy your company and can't wait to read the blog material that materializes from your weekend.
Richard, enjoy your weekend. I can't wait to see what new bolg ideas you thought of :-)
Richard- Time off is definitely necessary. We all need a breather every now and then. And if you're still thinkin about blogging, you haven't even really left work!
YOU DESERVE A BREAK TODAY....so get out and get away!
Relax and Enjoy! It will be wonderful to just be!
ENJOY, I got really busy today. Just read my blog from today. :0)
YOUR LAKE NORMAN REAL ESTATE AGENT with a heart for service.
You must really be taking the weekend off!!!!!! You haven't even commented.....HMMMMM
Enjoy sir.
HAVE AN AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!!
Richard, sometimes it is tough to get past the guilt. There are times that I almost envy the person that clocks out at the end of the day and leaves the job at the job.......but that thought does not last very long. Enjoy your down time!
Sometimes it's a great idea to step away and rejuvenate. Enjoy your vacation.
For crying out loud! Put that keyboard away and go outside to play with the others!! :)
Enjoy the tine with your company. Your guilt will be a great motivator in a few days. LOL
Hi Richard,
Guilt, Schmilt...you've earned this time and more I'm sure. When you get back to work, I'm sure you will make it up. : )
Since obtaining my Real Estate license I always feel like I am working. It is a good thing I love my job!
Sounds a lot like me bro....maybe it's genetic.
