Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

I'm enjoying some much needed time off, but it's not without guilt..

Richard is busy sign!I have the pleasure of having out-of-town company this weekend, so I'm actually in a non-work mode for the first time in many years.

It feels funny to not be at the office, or answering calls, or doing paperwork. I guess that I have developed a serious case of "tunnel vision" over that period.

I have to keep telling myself: "It's all right to let it go" and "there's nothing wrong with taking a few days off!"

Plus, I'm getting plenty of good blogging material for the upcoming week. Well, there I go again ... always thinking about work!

Richard...YOu may be surprised how refreshed you will feel.  I know the feeling though.  I always keep my phone handy...can't relax if I don't and a phone call or 2 never ruins a day off for me!  I just let the caller know that they are important and I WILL get ack to them.

My idea of taking time off is not working from the office, however I still work from home.  My wife gets nuts on me because even standing in line at Disney I answer my phone and take care of business, "why not it is non-productive time anyway".  Needless to say that doesn't fly well with the Mrs. I really need to shut down once in awhile.

Richard, this sounds like withdrawal pangs to me. But do enjoy yourself despite feeling that way.

Richard - relax, take it easy, you've earned it. After all, a few days off can't hurt, as long as your competitors don't know;^)

I know what you're tallking about... it feels like you're playing hookey and you'll be discovered at any moment.  But it's okay... allow yourself to float down the mississippi for a while.  There'll be plenty of time to work later.

Richard:  Blogging isn't work, is it?  :)  Maybe you could let your brothers do a guest post.  Let them tell us about what it's like to have you as a brother.

Richard, sometimes it is tough to get past the guilt. There are times that I almost envy the person that clocks out at the end of the day and leaves the job at the job.......but that thought does not last very long. Enjoy your down time!
