They say that the days are getting longer, but I am not exactly sure what that means. It seems that my hours are full from dawn to dusk, and I don't have a minute to spare.
My morning was filled with my web activities, and taking care of some financial issues that needed attention. And according to some of the letters, they needed my IMMEDIATE attention.
Even my noontime meal was "work" today, as we had a lunch and learn class about short sales, and were educated by a local attorney as we munched sandwiches and ate brownies. I spent a good portion of the afternoon catching up on paperwork and returning phone calls. It's drudgery, but it has to be done.
I finished the day with a trip to photograph a lake lot that I just listed last weekend, and since this was the first day it didn't rain since the listing was signed, I took advantage of the clear skies for some marketing photos.
The round trip took about four hours, and I made it back to the house by eight P.M. Then it's back to the web for my evening listing maintenance and blogging activities.
It's been a long day, and I'm tired. And I'm looking forward to a well-deserved night of sleep!

My thoughts EXACTLY! I was on non stop today...and it's 9:05pm-just now checking active rain!
When the days get longer we work longer. Its a good thing we have lots to do.
Wasn't the little bit of sunshine a welcome relief today?! It didn't peek through here until about 4:00, but I'm not complaining!
Cindy...
I know what you mean. I have a lot of comments to catch up on!
Sandy...
You know, that is very simple and profound. Thanks for adding to the conversation!
It is fun now when look out the office window it is dark when I come in a light when I go home and I still seem to be working 12 hours a day.
Boy isn't that the truth. I have been awake since five this morning and just now getting to active rain.
Richard: Waterfront property. Sounds like a nice listing, but a four hour round trip to the listing and back. Yikes! Sounds like what it would take me to Fredericksburg and back with monster traffic.
There is never enough hours in the day.
I'm tired just reading this! So true though, we do fill up our days... the trick is to fill them up with the right stuff so the results are what we're looking for!
Carol...
We were lucky, we had sunshine ALL day! THX.
Eric...
I think we honestly spend a lot more time on each deal, and that burns a lot of daylight. THX
John...
And now I'm too tired to THINK! Thanks.
Richard, darling, Back!!!!! I bet you thought i was dead. HAH! No way. Good to hear you worked hard today. I got a referral from UTAH today, sorta Active Rain connected. But they got my name off Google...again the Active Rain connection. hmm. maybe this works. Take care, sleep well. I'll get caught up eventually. I always say that. But you are on my top reads when I've been away as long as two weeks. Love being busy!!!!
I've been going non-stop today too. Some days are like that I guess. Better busy than not!
I never have enough time in the day. It is sad but I think I need eight more hours.
Richard, I know what you mean. There is so much to do online that it's an all day affair! I usually get to Active Rain late while in front of the TV.
I just bought one of those spongy mattresses from Costco...and I tell you what....it it pure bliss at the end of the day.....all the way through to morning! Then the Rowanda coffee! Yippeeee! (can you tell I love that coffee?)
Noontime meal? You mean you actually expect to get one of those? Psh. I gave up on those a long time ago. I just eat on the run. LOL.
And I agree with Sally's comment. A great mattress makes a world of difference! Sleeping well can make all the difference in your day.
I'm with Lisa.....I give up the silly notion of "lunch" during the busy season. :) ROTF about the Immediate Attention....I've a few of those myself. I try to get them paid during lunch but as you can see I gave that up so........
btw the picture is breath taking
Sleep Well dear Richard. What a beautiful picture that is. I've long ago given up trying to get everything done, although I am getting more organized every day.
Richard - the days are getting longer, but you are getting older so time goes by faster at kind of an inverse Einsteinien relativity rate. As one approaches the speed of light, time travels slower. As one approaches the speed of life, time travels faster.
Love the eye candy. I wish I was there. That looks like a lovely place to paint. BTW, you are getting some free Trump U stuff for your Laugh Lunch answers and you won the Gigglefest 2.0 custom portrait. Yay! I am painting you, bay-bay! You are about to become a Wordy C illustration. ;-)
My friend, the days are getting longer and yours are the same, the only difference is now you are busy and they just seem shorter.
The only time we have is NOW - focus on what is most important. Time always is enough.
But what a nice day for a drive and a great reason to see a beautiful lake. Have a great Wednesday
The days seem to go by faster because we are getting older.
It's good to be busy, daylight savings to me usually just means longer working days.
