Sunday evenings have always been a special time for me. I like to take a few hours to both reflect on the past seven days, and to spend some time preparing for the upcoming work week.
I also might finish up some weekend projects, or do some previously neglected paperwork. But regardless of what I do, the pace is relaxed and easy, and I will leisurely perform the tasks at hand.
I already know how the day will end, snoozing in my recliner with a cat snuggled on my lap. The television provides white noise in the background as we drop off into deep slumber.
Now bring on the week, I'm ready for anything

I will be snoozing on my recliner a little later too dear friend!! xxoo
Sunday evenings are when the entire family watches America's Funniest Home Videos and its always such fun to hear the kids cracking up. Gorgeous photo as usual. Here's wishing you a great week ahead.
Thanks for that, Richard. I experience the same sense of contentment and satisfaction on Sunday nights. Sunday afternoon into the evening has been - especially lately - the only break I get in the week. I really relish that downtime...content myself with a few simple indulgences (like watching 60 Minutes) and look forward to the week ahead, too.
I especially like Sundays when the Lakers have won already...and I look forward to 24 tomarrow.
I, too, enjoy Sunday evenings. Time to kick back and relax, read a book, watch some TV, just chill. And i, too, am ready for the new week. Like you said -- Bring it on!
Quick question, Richard....Do you sleep the whole night in the recliner? LOL
Debi
After a long day of open houses it is nice to come home to a quite night with the family.
Richard, I guess it's too early for a rocker on the porch and a Mint Julep. Your Sunday evening sounds pretty good to me. Rich
Sundays are always my rest and recharge day. Not to mention laundry day. LOL Love that photo. Awesome!
Susan...
We are birds of a feather, after all! I hope that you get a good nights sleep!
Stacey-Ann...
Enjoy the videos with your family and have a great week too!
Ken...
There is something special about it, isn't there! THX
SNoozing in front of the TV is definitely in my near future.
Karen...
I'm a hockey fan myself, but it's all good! Thanks for the comment.
Peggy...
I will be ready too. THX
Debi...
I often do, because it's so comfortable! ;)
So I am thinking that you are snoozing about now and I will have a response sometime around 7am tomorrow.
BTW, when will we be getting an update on Mr. Peyton?
Richard, I am such a party pooper compared to your exciting sunset thought. I'm out pulling weeds.
I think I am going to book a trip to Fiji tomorrow. Life is too short to pull weeds.
Richard, that sounds like me every night...lol. That's a great pic by the way!
Sounds Purrfect Richard. Have a good week my friend!
I called it an early day and let all of those 'loose ends' stay loose a little longer.
Richard...I can't seam to find all that leisure time. In some ways that is not all bad. Enjoy them while you have them!
That is a gorgeous shot Richard. I hope all is well in your world!
Your chickee from Milwaukee.
I never seem to get to snooze anymore these days, maybe next Sunday.
Richard, you take the most beautiful pictures. Thank you for the great words and awesome eye candy. Makes a person feel good!
