There are so many shades of green, and equal number of meanings attached to it. You can be green with envy, you can be new at a job and still be green, and you can turn green around the gills when you've had a little too much too drink!
Green can be money, a place to putt or bowl, a signal to go or a fruit that is not yet ripe. It can mean that you are environmentally conscious or eaten in a bowl hot with pepper sauce.
Enjoy the "Green" photos, it's the photo theme for the day!

Green will be the color next month. Especially on March 17th! At least that's what the Irish say!

Great post. Love the photos and the green is so rich looking....maybe that is why money is green.. LOL
Richard, green like the color blue is soothing to the eye. I especially love the water droplets on the leaves.

I am hoping to see some green here in the next 30 days all I have is White outside right now .
Oooh, a themed Wordless Wednesday... I like it.. and the photo's.
I remember when I first went to New Mexico State U, I couldn't get over how brown everything was. It took two years before I could see the gentle green hues of spring. We've got great greens in NJ come spring, and I can't wait! Nice photos.
Richard I love your photos. You are truly an artist
You are quite the photographer!

Hi Richard! :-)
I second Paddy! I love them as well. Looking forward to creating blog posts on your deck in my PJs with the rest of the gang. :-)
Richard,
As you illustrate with your great photos, green is nature's color of life. :)
