We are creatures of habit. We instinctively react to stimulus of all sorts. We could have a ball spinning yarns all day long, but instead, we are always on the prowl.
We scratch and claw our way through our daily exercises and sometimes we find ourselves wallowing in the litter of failure and caterwauling over spilled milk.
Often, we just need to be held and caressed, and told that we're beautiful. An occasional afternoon nap is nice and refreshing too!
And if you smell a rat in this offering, don't get all huffy and puffy! I was just feeling a bit frisky this morning and after all, these posts often have nine lives!

I like the hugged and caressed part!
Adorable! Your cat is a beauty! What is its name? Socks? Gorgeous! Cute pillow too...does he/she knead it?
Great stuff!
Richard--You are certainly know what cats like and how they behave. Love the analogy! I had a cat that looked just like yours, his name was Flash but he should have been named Groucho since he had a spot just under his nose that looked like Groucho Marx's mustache. Very beautiful cat photo!
Very creative post. Not sure if I have ever felt like a cat, but anything can happen.
I had a cat named Kitty that looked just like yours. She was contrary.
Kathy
Are you talking about my cat? great post, I just thought about the difference between cat and do people last night, when my cat was in the mood for a lot of caressing

I just had to figure out a way to use this really cute Christmas photo! I can't do "Wordless!"
Cute! Like the hug & caress part.
Just one more way we are all like bug kittens. I have the tendency to scratch and claw a lot myself. Plus I am something of a biter.
Love the Cat and the cat present. He is proud of himself.....
Now Richard you stole my kitty. I have a black tuxedo cat also, they could be siblings. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Richard, You know what they say, "dogs have masters, cats have support staff." Your post puns were really subtle. Nice job.
Well, that is the only thing i have found good in moving the office home, I can put my feet up on the desk and close my eyes without a care! (As long as the wife ain't home!)
I am telling on William!
Meow Richard. That's what I call some fine work art.
Richard~Have you been nipping at the egg nog again?? Just kidding. Enjoyed the light-hearted post...
Richard: LeMieux looks so cute eveyballing himself in that photo. Is that a pillow? As for the post, I would never take offense to being compared with a cat. I have something in common with all five of mine.
Kathy...
I saved mine from euthanasia, she's a great cat!
Anne...
In my next life, I want to return as a well loved cat!
Maria...
My last cat would wrap both of his arms around my neck and snuggle. That was nice!
Hi Richard... I love this post. Very good analogies and all I can think to add is, "Meow"!
JL...
Somehow, I pictured you as picked out at the pound! lol
Kathy...
It's a cool photo, that's for sure! ;)
Julie...
Thanks, this is my first Tuxedo, and she's been a real pleasure to have living with us!
If I'm ever caught wallowing in the litter, please somebody pull me out!!
Rich...
Thanks for appreciating the fact that cats are a little more demanding and probably better sources for humor than dogs!
Bill...
Many would say that's one of the DOWNFALLS of working at home! lol
Mel...
He needs to pay attention to whom he is telling his secrets!
You are very funny Richard! Your creative thinking always amazes me.
Meow! Pretty kitty. I'm waiting for the afternoon nap!! Puurrrrr!! ~A:)
Richard, OMG....I have a stuffed tree like the one in the back of your picture that my sister made me years ago. In fact, it's the only tree I have put UP in years! How funny!
I love your posts, and yes, blogging can take all forms. It does not have to be all about real estate....altho at this point I feel better about writing about that than other topics, but it gives you a chance to show the real you! Keep it up...especially the pictures! I love them!
Oh, the kitty looks so happy. I always enjoy reading your posts!
Oh, how many times can I tell you I love you? You have the most exquistie sense of humor and you seem to know when we all need the nudge and we need the hug. And how much we enjoy your writing and love your photos. Where do you get all this energy??? Thank you, thank you, thank you!
