I would like to try the Meatloaf today, but if I added in the gas for a round trip it would break me! We are losing are little Ma and Pa places down here to all the fancy chain stores.

I love Country Fried Steak, biscuits and gravy, dumplings, etc. I love Southern Cooking. Unfortunately in the North the only place you can get some sort of southern cooking is Deny's (country fried steak) LOL & Cracker Barrel. By the way Deny's closed so I guess thats out. I remember when you could get fried chicken livers at Kentucky Fried Chicken down south. Can you still? Looks like a nice place.

Richard: I am a big fan of Sprayberry's BBQ in Newnan I think. I discovered them years ago (before they opened the new restaurant by the freeway) when I was working on a film 'Pet Semetary 2'. We were living in Peach Tree City and filming in Senoia and other sites around Atlanta. Some of the GOBs on the crew took me there. Now whenever we fly to Atlanta to visit my in-laws, we make a long detour from the airport to pick up some 'outside slice' to enjoy with the family. Thanks for the other recommendations. I hope I will get a chance to try them.

I love Claire's.  It is the best meat & veggie restaruant in Newnan.  Love the fresh vegetables. I love the macaroni and cheese and sweet potato casserole.  The fried chicken and country fried steak are the best!  Great place for parties!
