It's a rainy Sunsay morning in Sharpsburg Georgia. I don't have a problem with that. After one of the worst droughts in memory, we've had an adequate amount of rain this year. But the fact that we were within 60 days of completely running out of water last year means that we no longer take these Spring showers for granted.
Seems like we're having a lot more shortages than usual lately. Petroleum is scarce, due to increased demand, and with the rising cost of petroleum goes the price of just about every other product and commodity. It's a bit disconcerting to go to the grocery store and notice weekly increases in just about everything.
The one obvious exception to these global price increases seems to be the cost of owning real estate. With prices lower than any time in the recent past, and interest rates that are still very buyer-friendly, housing is more affordable than any time in the last 5 years.
If you have been waiting for the perfect time to buy your forst home, I heartily suggest that you call a real estate agent today. Don't miss this opportunity to save on this important cost of living item that is currently the one one place where you can actually save money now, and for years to come!
