Let me just start by saying that I overthink everything. Even some of the most basic conundrums can take hours of reckoning before I come to a conclusion that satisfies me.
But sometimes, the brain clouds over, and rationality goes straight out the window. Sometime an answer is needed right away, and there is not enough time to evaluate all of the possible consequences.
Ah, but clouds in the right place can accentuate, and add contrast to the images forming in the brain. They can obscure inconsequential fluff, leaving the foreground subject clearer and more defined,
Sometimes overthinking an answer can obscure the obvious! I'm not saying that your first instinct is always correct, but that only the elements directly related to a decision need to be considered. Lay out what is important, what really needs to be considered in the decision making process, and disregard the rest!
If I could just learn to do that, I could finally get some sleep!

Analysis paralysis, I too, suffer from this. Makes some of the people who have to put up with me crazy. :)
Doreen...
You got the exact point I was trying to make! I was afraid that I overthought it! Thank you for your reassuring comment!
Thanks Doreen,
BTW it;s 6 A.M. and I'm still plugging away. I guess now it's time to "Wake-up?"
Bill...
It also shows that I'm real tired! But thanks for always being there for me!
JL...
I know what you mean Mr. Lady's-man!
Richard, I have never meant you, but I have read a few of your blogs. I would say that you totally over think! I have also found some humor as well in you.
