Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Coffee; do your job. I need a jumpstart today!

The life blood of a real estate agent! It seems like there are times when everything hits the fan at once. And while I work pretty good under pressure, there are times when I’m simply exhausted.

If life were a video game, I could simply buy more energy or ask my friends for some! But real life is no game, and when the challenges exceed the capacity to address them, something has got to give. Hopefully, that is NOT my sanity.

But as my java kicks in, and the adrenaline begins to flow, I am slowly being transformed back into my game-day mode.

Problems? Bring them on. This is the real estate business, and it is what I do for a living!

Richard,

Me?  I drink black coffee for a living, and dabble at selling a house or two on the side.

You and me both, my friend!  My real estate dealings tuckered me out this weekend and I'm still dragging a bit.

Dunkin Donuts extra large cream and sugar gets me going every morning.

The stigma of coffee is no more. It's healthy!

I have 2 giant cups in the morning to start my day.  My family says that I'm hyper already, but I feel that it helps.

I love my coffee. I always thought that if a genie gave me 3 wishes, my first would be that my day was 48 hours long and no one knew it but me. I could accomplish so much. As I get older though- I find I am tired with just 24 hours in a day. Probably couldn't make the best of twice as many.

Hey Richard, a cup of brew several times a day keeps everything ticking.  Guess you heard of the crazy Canadians that line up in the drive thrus just to get the cup of Tim Horton's coffee.  It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, there is a line.  We heard they addict people by using 18% cream, it keeps them coming back.

Richard, I like my coffee strong and I drink a mug before I open my eyes every morning then before the day is over, I've had about a pot of strong coffee.  I can't imagine how I'd manage without it and I thoroughly enjoy the stuff.  My husband and I have a "coffee" hour after work each day instead of a "cocktail" hour since neither of us drink alcohol.  We have a tall, iced coffee and pay a came of Rummikub and discuss our days.

I was so glad when coffee was removed from the "bad" things list.

I know that many people are using drinking that little bottle they see at these convenience stores that must be pure caffeine.  I don't know a lot about it, but I know it must put a lot of lead back in their pencil.

Coffee is a bad habit I started back when I worked the graveyard shift. Fast forward 20 years and I am still addicted. I set mine up the night before and hit the on button as soon as I stumble out of bed. DO NOT talk to me before coffee its not safe!!!

I'm on cup number two as I sit in the office at my desk and am just now feeling like it might be safe to speak to humans....:)

I've been a coffee drinker on and off for years and years. What can really get me going for a summer open house is a chocolate expresso shake. That will put some passion in your mission.

Sorry, A big glass of COLD millk and a warm cookie does it for me!  4-5 times a day if I am able!

All I can think of at times like this is the scene from Steel Magnolias with Tom Skerrit racing into the house for the bathroom yelling "Coffee kicking in...."
