Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

It’s Sunday morning and yet I don’t feel like preaching!

Little Cataloochee Church in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is about the fourth blog post that I have written this morning. After reading the previous three, I wasn’t pleased with the overall timbre of the content and set them aside for future consideration.

It wasn’t that the discarded articles were not well written, it just seemed to me that they came across as rather “preachy!” And while I am not adverse to pontification in general, I’m just not feeling the need to do so today.

As I sit here watching the juvenile hummingbirds vie for the sweet nectar in the feeder, I can only think that life is good and that I am lucky to be alive and well.

It’s another great day in the life. And it’s all good!

Good morning Richard, and it is a good day. Even if it is going to be another hot, humid day up here. Life is good, I am back online, even if it is a duct tape type of set up for now. The family is healthy, I am busy, what is better than that.

Still, I wouldn't have minded being preached to, it is good for the soul, LOL.

Unlike Andrea, I want to thank you, Richard, for not preaching this morning. Fire and brimstone don't go well with coffee and a croissant on a sunny deck. Enjoy.

Richard, sometimes the biggest and most important accomplishment for the day is stopping and realizing that we are indeed lucky, and that life is good. Thanks for the reminder

Richard, Thanks for not preaching - it's been a busy week, and I actually enjoyed looking at the pretty church picture you had.  Thanks!

Indeed! As for me, I am doing better than I deserve.  Life is good.

Richard,

Nice reflection, and not the least bit preachy.

Michael...

Thanks, my friend.

Andrea...

Hallelujah! And thanks. Thanks.

Glenn...

It's overcast and rainy here, but it is still a glorious day!

Preaching is not always associated with religion...going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car...Just a thought.

Thanks for letting us off the hook Richard.  Sometimes when we are preached to we feel pressure to change a thing or two in our lives that we may not otherwise consider changing.  Whew!  The pressure is off and I can get on to my honey do list and relax.  Have a great Sunday.

Richard,  I can't even guess what you put aside and did not publish since you rarely come across as "preachy" in my view.  But, I am glad you decided to honor your soul this morning and opted for something you felt better about.

It's raining here in West Cobb this morning too...time to curl up with a good book, cuddle with the dog and maybe take a nap.

Have a great SOUTHERN SUNDAY!

I like it when you get up on your soap box and preach.  I do know what you mean...somedays you just want to BE.

Amen brother Richard! Enjoy the day. Relax and save those other unpublished posts for another day.

Great picture..Makes me think of the old country gospel song....Church in the Wildwood. It is a great thing - being alive and able to enjoy God's creation!
