2010 Peachtree City Fireworks Display is scheduled for Saturday July 3rd !

2010 Peachtree City Fireworks July 3The 2010 Peachtree City fireworks show is scheduled for Saturday, July 3rd. The program will commence as soon as it gets dark.

The annual display is considered the best in the South Metro area, with a multitude of pulsating pyrotechnic projectiles popping over Peachtree Lake!

Plan to arrive early, and be sure to park only in designated areas. There will an 800 foot safety perimeter around the staging area, and no spectators will be allowed to remain inside during the performance..

This is a very popular fireworks venue, so be prepared for traffic congestion and large crowds. A little patience and a friendly smile go a long way towards making the experience a pleasant one!

Happy Independence Day to all!

So many fireworks displays are going to be on Saturday 7/3 this year.  Our township did it last weekend and I missed it then too!

Fireworks shows are as American as apple pie and I still love them even at my age. Enjoy Richard.

Richard...In our area of the cabin, many of the small towns hold their fireworks on teh 3rd and sometimes on the 5th.  Kind of spreads them around a bit.

Richard:

Here we have the grand fireworks display in Boston at the Esplanade with the Boston Pops Symphony accompanying. People started camping out there yesterday for the display on Sunday. It is a beautiful show but trying to get near it is an act of pure insanity.  I went once years ago. I am glad that I did for posterity - but will never brave that crowd again.

'Love those fireworks, though.
