Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! Fear can often lead to a missed opportunity.

Real estate can still be a great investmentSometimes, it is human nature to second guess ourselves. After all, we have all made mistakes, and hopefully, we have learned from them.

But sometimes, NOT following through on a major decision might be an even bigger mistake. Not all choices are wrong, and sometimes the upside potential far exceeds potential risks.

Many potential homebuyers have been frightened out of the market by doom and gloom prognosticators that insist that purchasing real estate is a risky endeavor.

But many buyers are getting fantastic deals on great houses that will serve as their homes for years to come. And low fixed interest rates are a great hedge against any future inflation.

Home ownership is more affordable than ever!  Get the facts today from a knowledgeable Realtor in your area!

One month's rent and a deposit will get you into a home in my local market.

Great headline Richard -- and so true!  Though I don't love the turn the market took I do appreciate the opportunity it affords.  Remember the 80s?  That was a primer for how to take advantage of the market now.

Richard...I have a couple this year that could not make a decision on a great deal.  Within the time they decided to move on it...GONE!!!

Hi Richard-

This is such a great time to buy.  We have our house on the market right now so that we can buy a move up house.  I wouldn't miss this opportunity!

Richard,

As in the 80's lots of folks will be looking in the rear view mirror having missed the market.

Richard, This needed to be said.  We (American's) need to stop living and fear and start LIVING again.

Richard, I believe if the press stopped spreading doom and gloom, with a focus on small, positive things, or if they at least ran positive stories as well, we would all be better off.

Fear can really hold you back in life, in many respects.

Richard, I nominate you as the new NAR spokesmen, the women actress they have now is cute...but a real Realtor with an honest opinion couldn't hurt.

This is an awesome post.  I am going to reblog this.  It really is a wonderful time to buy.

Shout it out, brother.  Now is a great time to buy!

I agree with Steve, the NAR girl needs to be replaced, she may be cute, but what is it with the whole "call a realTOR today?"  Why so much EMPHASIS ON THE "TOR"?  They make them all do that and it sounds SO stupid!
