Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Three Cheers for the red, white and blue!

Old Glory in Senoia GAOh say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave?
O’er the land of the free,
And the home of the brave?

                        Francis Scott Key

June 14 is Flag Day, and I have a brand new star-spangled banner that will replace the ensign on the front porch that is beginning to show its age. There is nothing that adds more patriotic color to the house than the red, white and blue of Old Glory.

There is nothing that compares to a bright and crisp American flag fluttering in a gentle breeze on a gorgeous sunlit day!

It is an awe-inspiring palette, that's for sure

June 14 is flag day!

Honestly Richard, I would have forgotten if you hadn't reminded me & i was wondering why i saw so many flags today as i drove around for work.  It's especially nice to see a brandy, new flag flying high.

Richard - thanks for the reminder. That flag looks like it has been freshly pressed and starched.

This date usually only gets remembered by the people who get it as a holiday!  Thanks to our troops who make it possible to display our pride!

Richard! That is my eldest daughters birthday too!

I don't own a flag but I plan on buying one for Flag day. It will make my father proud as he fought in the WWII and the Korean War.

Mine is hanging in front of my house year round.  I actually suggested giving one to each of my clients as they bought a home.  Some on active rain told me it was too political.

Hi Richard, One of my most pleasing possessions is a flag pole and flag that flys in front of my home year around. At the base I keep the round flower bed filled with red white a blue flowers for a beautiful look. I used to live in a townhome and flags were mostly frowned upon and could only be out for the day of the holiday and certainly I could not have a professional grade flag pole there. When I bought my current home, it was one of the first things I added.

Nice Flag Day tribute. It's always inspiring to see the red, white and blue waving in the breeze and think of all that it represents.
