Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Just when you start thinking that nobody appreciates anything anymore, something nice like this happens.

A lot of my recent posts have dealt with the topic of today’s real estate market and how tough it is to get a transaction to the closing table.

We work so hard, and few realize just how much behind-the-scenes work is necessary each and every day to keep all of the deals in progress alive and kicking.

And it’s a great feeling when we finally close and are awarded our compensation for all of our efforts. It’s always good to have a payday in this business.

But it’s even better when a client shows special appreciation for a job well done. After a closing this morning, my partner Laura Ellen Beckom was presented this bouquet of balloons tethered to two mega boxes of chocolate bars! (Her favorites!)

Laura always does a great job for all of her clients, but this gift is a wonderful testimonial to her dedication to hard work and her professionalism!

Congratulations to Laura on a job well done!

And I hope that her thoughtful clients enjoy their new home for many, many years to come!

Hi Richard ~ That is so cool. I'm always amazed and delighted (not to mention grateful!) when I receive gifts from clients. Truthfully it wouldn't have occurred to me before I was an agent to do the same when I was a customer. It sure makes a wonderful impression.

Richard..Congrats to Laura.  something tells me you taught her well.  It is rare to clients do anything above and beyond a thank you , not that we expect it!

Always good to know your client appreciated your efforts.  Too many people think all we do is put up a yard sign and wait for the bucks to roll in.

Richard  - This is a truly terrific feeling when a client goes out of his/her way to show appreciation.  After my first closing ever, back in 1997, my clients took me to a nice lunch and gave me a $200 gift certificate for one of the nicest restaurants in town.  I was spoiled...

Richard:  What a simple and fun way to say thanks to your Realtor®.  I love it when my clients give me something special to thank me for their help.  I never expect anything but a smile and a thank you when it's all said and done.  Anything more than that is the icing on the cake.  As for your partner, it certainly sounds like you have chosen a great one.

Richard:

Congratulations to your partner, Laura for getting this extra special treat. Yes, the money is nice but this type of recognition is so rewarding.

A couple that I just finished working with both wrote client testimonial letters and sent them to me this morning. Each of them did not know that the other was writing - so I have two to pick from this time. 'So lovely of them and I dearly appreciate it.

Laura must be very special and it's great that her clients recognize it.

It is a great compliment when a client makes such a jester. I just got home from a Housewarming/birthday party with a client who gave me a $50 gift card when we closed.

Congrats to Laura and her Mentor.
