Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Hey, there’s a world out there beyond the screen of my laptop. Maybe I’ll go out today and have a look-see!

Gatlinburg Sunrise by Richard WeisserIt’s probably a side-effect of the unseasonably cold weather here in Newnan, Georgia, but it feels like I have been spending an abnormally large amount of time staring at the LCD on my laptop.

But today, the spring-like weather is beckoning me to emerge from hibernation and to get outside and have a look. There’s a whole world out there waiting to emerge from the doldrums of torpor and to get out and discover new and exciting things.

It’s amazing how our internal body clocks and basic animal instincts take over, and refusal to give in to the primeval urges are pointless and futile. Nature calls us out to continue the eternal quest for survival of both ourselves individually and the species as a whole.

But I guess we don’t need to understand the scientific reasons WHY a beautiful day rejuvenates our spirits and replenishes our soul.

We just need to enjoy it!

Richard, for a change the sun is shining brightly here as well and I'm anxious to get out and enjoy the day.  When I wake up to bright sunshine, it just starts my day off with a smile.

Richard, it will be a nice day here too. I can't decide what to do, LOL. That is always my problem on mornings like this. I don't do well if I don't have a plan already.

I expect to see pictures!

Hi Richard, the last few days have been in the 40's and the sun is shining. The sun makes everyone happier. Enjoy the day Richard!

I'm enjoying our blue skies in Northern Virginia too.  I feel as if I should be able to walk around in shorts and a T-shirt but then I open the front door and realize that "baby it's cold outside."

Richard...first off, LOVE that picture!

And yes, we have all been in front of the screen to much as of late! (I'm going to have to have my glasses BEFORE RETech South next month so I can see the big screen.....a casualty of to much time looking at this screen)

We have a Community Open House today, so hoping the good weather brings 'em out! And somebody's got a checkbook!

Yes, get out and enjoy! I need to do it more!

Good morning Richard,

Yes it is wonderful to experience the juices that flow when the weather is spring like..I guess that is one of the reason's I love Austin..it's hard to feel down when the weather is usually lovely! Enjoy your day and step away from the computer!

I am headed out shortly, but, unfortunately, or fortunately, it is to show a few homes.

Richard,

Our weather is going to be decent around here. Not as decent as yours but nice just the same. I'm taking the day off too and going down to DC for the Chinese New Years Day parade.

Richard, I always come over to look at your photos....I'm always rewarded. Have a wonderful day and enjoy....you are right...I also feel Spring coming. My husband made me leave the computer yesterday to spend time in our backyard to get a bit of sun and enjoy the beautiful day. We have another one today and I should push away from this desk and get out there. Hope your day is wonderful!

Hi Richard, There is nothing like a beautiful Day! It would be wrong to waste it in front of a computer, so I hope you enjoy yourself this Sunday :-)

Richard, great point!  I was just thinking that same thing.  Virtual's ok, but it's still not as good as reality, despite what the kids say.

Richard....I'm now getting into taking pictures....this is a great day to practice that task.....have a good one.

Of course you will enjoy it! Truth be told, you must get out fairly often because you have an incredible library of beautiful outdoor pictures. Have a great rest of the Sunday!

Richard...thanks for the Spring shot it gives people like me some encouragement, as I watch it snow outside, I know this too shall pass (eventually).

Nothing like a great Spring day to renew your spirits and energy.  Enjoy it enough for all of us!

Richard:  My husband and I are getting the urge to go and inline skate, but there are still mountains of snow everywhere.  Very frustrating.  We'll probably have snow build up problems almost into April.

Hi Richard, good to hear the weather is forcing you outside. Enjoy and soak it up.

Richard:

It is a beautiful day here in Massachusetts. However,  I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday on the tennis court and am stuck in bed today with muscle relaxers and heating pads.

But it is good to know that the nice weather is really just around the corner.

That is a beautiful shot of the fog and mist lifting from the hills of Georgia. Get out in it and have a blast.

I didn't work an open house today so I could enjoy this great weather.  My husband was more interested in the golf tournament on TV.  My kids both had a paper due tomorrow for school and had left it until the last minute.  I was on my own.  Guess what I did?  Attended open houses.  I still got a chance to enjoy the great weather while previewing some homes that I've been wanting to see.  The life of a realtor.
