Attitude is often touted as a key ingredient in the formula for success. And while that may seem cliché, it has proven to be true time and time again.
Because attitude is not only a state of mind, it forms the basis for our decision making process. Our choices are controlled by our level of optimism and our actions are motivated by the anticipated probability of success.
Conversely, the pessimist with will engage a defensive posture, and will seek to "hedge their bets" and will not allow provision for the possibility of growth.
I'm ready for a New Year and for all of the exciting opportunities it presents. And I'm going to meet in head on with a "can-do attitude!"

Richard,
The renewal and rebirth of a new year are exciting. Having the right attitude is more than half the battle.
Rich
I love the anticipation...what will the future bring? Meeting it head on, with that positive mental attitude is key! Happy New Year Richard! I hope it's happy, healthy and prosperous!

Hi Richard:
Looks like you and I are on the same page this morning with our New Years references!
I'm looking forward to the New Year. I'm definitely an optimist!
Hi Richard, I am so looking forward to next year. I have a plan geared up and ready to go starting with New Year's Eve :) I hope you and your family have a Happy New Year and stay up to watch the ball drop ok??? :)
How nice of you to notice!
That is it, Richard, attitude. "For as a man thinketh in his heart.." Have a great New Year!
Richard, there is nothing more important than keeping a positive attitude and high expectations for yourself. I for one do not want to be "living down" to my expectations, I want to be living up to them! So, onwards and upwards we all go! And thanks for the reminder. I came in early to get some work done and the heat was off. YIKES it is cold in here. But a little change in my perspective, a visit to the landlord next door with a smile on my face and one of the guys came over to take care of it right away. The heat is blowing, I am feeling good, and now I am going to put my deal together that was hanging all last week. Now that I am sure about!
Love that photo!
Richard, I agree! The new year is going to bring excitement and new challenges to the real estate industry. The only way to meet it is head on with a positive attitude. Thanks and Happy New Year!
Richard:
I would have expected that photo to appear this Friday. Now I am looking forward to seeing what you have in store for New Year's Eve.
I am looking forward to the new year with optimism and wish the best for yours as well.
Richard,
Great Post. A great attiude is very important ingredient for success in 2010.
Thanks for sharing,
Matt Naumann
I LOVE the New Year, Richard: full of new beginnings, new plans, new hopes, new expectations and, yes, New Year's resolutions! It's a chance to slough off the things that aren't working for us and add on the things we hope will work for us. We, and our businesses, are like clay molds: add a bit here, take off a bit there, push this and that, and a shape emerges. And next year we may have to push and scrape and mold in different places than this year, but we're all masterpieces in the making! -- Tanya in Montreal
I cant wait for the new year Richard !
I am excited to close the book on a terrific 2009, and look forward to all the fun things ahead for 2010 !
Hope yours gets off to a terrific start !
Cheers :o)
Richard: That attitude you describe is the one that made 2009 a mega-year for me. I am definitely looking forward to doing it again, or better in 2010.
You are so right and most everything we deal with comes in the form of how we deal with it. Attitude can make or break you and the funny thing is --Attitude is a choice.

Everything begins with a positive attitude, so let's start out on the right foot. Here's to a fabulous 2010!
Anticipation Richard. I think it will be a better year period. I think the economy will improve slightly and we can start to grow again.
Attitude is everything. I'm a big fan of Tony Robbins and several other authors that preach positive thinking.
Well, it is absolutly with anticipation. Being a pessimist doesn't get you anywhere!
Couldn't agree more Richard. Pessimists are self fulling prophets. A can do attitude will almost always lead to success.
Richard, I'm looking forward to the New year! It's like reading a good book, I can't WAIT to TURN THE PAGE! The best to you in 2010!
I am with you. Richard. Let the New Year roll and let's shoot for the stars!
That is so-o-o-o true Richard. I am working on getting my unfair share of the market this upcoming year...
Helping you help others live their American dream...
Happy New Year...
I'm ready for a New Year too, Richard! The possibilities stretching before us are exciting.
Well I guess I'm an optimistic skeptic, or a skeptical optimist, because I just can't wait to see this terrible decade end and hoping for much better with the start of the new decade.
It's a new year! Happy 2010!
Let's all make this the year to get this economy out of a slump!
Let's all get things rolling!
Thanks!
