It’s early Christmas morning in Newnan Georgia. It rained all night, which was kind of nice as we were snug and cozy inside as the torrents of water pelted the house..
Christmas Eve was a little different for us because we generally have overnight guests, but this year it was just me and the wife which was actually a very mice change. We couldn’t remember that last time we had a romantic Christmas Eve alone together!
Now is my quiet time to reflect and remember. It’s very calm and peaceful this morning. It won’t be long before my meditations will be interrupted as I begin to prepare Christmas dinner.
So to all my family, friends, and soon to be friends I wish that you have a wonderful day filled with the same kind of true peace, unconditional love and pure joy that I am experiencing on this special day.

Merry Christmas Richard. Most Christmas Eve's have been quiet in my home since my son moved out. Christmas Day as well because my husband usually goes to work that evening.
Taking some quiet time this morning and then I am off to spend the day with my son and his girlfriends family.

Richard.....Merry Christmas to you and your family.....I had 13 here last evening and we had a great time.....it was so much fun.....my 87 year old mother was as energetic as my children and grandchildren.....it was great....I'm wiped out right now.....can't wait to relax and watch the celtics this afternoon....the kids will drop in later.

Thanks for the kind words. The photo is actually from the area where I was raised in Western Pennsylvania! We don't see snow that often here in Newnan Ga. but when we do, it's an event! Merry Christmas.

Sounds like you have much to be grateful for! I've just made a pitcher of cranberry martini's and they are chilling. The turkey and prime rib is cooking, dressing made, apple pie out of the oven and the tables are set. Five grandchildren will be descending soon and we will need the martini's. Richard - Finished our family feast of roast beast and am feeling a bit dull, But not enough to wish you a very Merry Christmas. Hope that even in the quietest moments your Christmas fulfilled you.
We are lucky ths year and only have 1/2 the guests that we usually do. It was nice as you could talk with everyone!
