Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

How to survive in a slow real estate market.

Seems like nothing is happening in today's market. Buyers are reluctant to "pull the trigger" when it comes to executing a contract to purchase a new home. There are many uncertainties, none of the least are which:

1) Will interest rates drop in the near future?

2) Have we reached the bottom of the downward price spiral?

3) How will development be controlled in the future?

If you are selling your home at this time it is important that your real estate agent has all of the latest tools needed to effectively highlight your property above othersd in your area. Do not be afraid to ask your agent specific questions about the methods used to advertise your property. After all, it's more important than ever to actively participate in the sale of your property!
