Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Monday is the day you "set the tone" for the rest of the week. How will you spend yours?

Get started down the right path! It's funny how little things can affect outcomes that are down the road. You often hear the words "on track" or "momentum" when describing performance. And there is something to the notion of positive thinking affecting results.

More importantly, there is a necessity for taking positive ACTION. There is a necessity to set the wheels of productivity in motion and positioning oneself for the most efficient performance. Taking the bull by the horns and getting out of the gate goes a long way towards having a successful week!

Positive thinking is wonderful! Positive action is essential. Being proactive and getting things done in their proper order will always yield better results in the end.

And isn't that why we go to work in the first place?

Good Monday morning Richard! I am setting the tone for my week right now. I have decided to pretty much take the day off from the usual, take my camera and set out to a few special places this morning. Today is my day, and I will make it a good one. Mr. Columbus and I discovered America on the same day you see, and the whole US is celebrating my special day with me. So you see, the tone for this week is certainly a good one! :D

(Spoke with dad yesterday, as always, he is ever curious about the market. I told him you were busier than a one armed paper hanger and he was very intruigued. He does understand that this is probably due to REO's, but he was curious.)

OK, off to read a few more posts, then grabbing that camera and snapping away! A covered bridge is first on my list. Love your photo!

Richard - reminds me of an old saying (well, don't know how old) a manager a long time ago used to tell me.

He who loves and looks forward to Monday's is in danger of success.

Richard:  This Monday I'll be taking one of our cats to the vet for their annual visit, then coming back to figure out why a client that has two offers pending an answer from banks, is sitll wanting to write more offers.  You can only buy one house.

Hi Richard!  Great attitude and advice--Mondays always seem to be busy and definitely set the tone for the week.  I try to get everything checked off that I can on Mondays so that the rest of the week can squeeze in last minute fires!!

Have a great week...

Positive action is essential... I like that. Monday morning for me is not only making the list, but also visualizing the week. We're off to a great start! Thanks...

I have to constantly remind myself to do things in the right order and keep on moving forward. But if you do it, the rewards can be great.

Possitive attitude will generate a positive flow all week.  Don't say, "I oly got one call today"  You say..."I got a call today!  That's better than I did yesterday!"

Richard - Enjoyable post.  Positive attitude set the tone... but wanting something isn't enough.  It is all about having a plan and taking action.
