It was 56 degrees in Newnan Georgia this morning. That's a record low for this date in July. And while it is a far cry from shivering weather, it's a relief from the normal deep south lows in the 70's.
And while it doesn't really affect every day life or change anything of significance one way or another, it's always nice to enjoy something that is unusual or out of the ordinary! It sets this morning in July apart from all of the others previous that I have experienced.
This morning is special because it is different. It is memorable because it is unique. It bears mentioning because it is outside the parameters of what is normally expected.
Likewise, if we conduct our businesses in a way that is beyond what is normally expected, we too shall be set apart and recognized as unique and memorable.
Keep in mind that being ordinary does not set us apart from the rest.
Being exceptional does!

It is 50 here, feels like football weather. GO BLUE!!
All this "global warming, climate change is just killing me".
I am loving this cooler weather. It is really unusual. I'm going to get out and do some yard work this morning.
Ricahrd - cool, fall like morning, low humidity, gotta love it!
Good post. We have a cool morning in Maryland as well. Ideal time for fresh thinking about business as well as our personal lives. Good to be alive!
A chilly day here yesterday too but sunny. Good way to put a positive spin on something out of the ordinary.
Missy...
Ah, perfect weather for football ...wow...! Thanks.
Jen...
Work??? Why spoil a great morning! lol and thanks.
Mike...
I DO love it, thank you very much!
Richard, we've also had an unusual July here is Virginia. Very good analogy. Those you go the extra mile usually stand out.
Richard, A pleasant change in pace is always welcome on my end. I apply that to life and always grab every opportunity. I know my family, friends, and clients appreciate my motivational spirit to live life to the fullest. Did you see my post the other day on that?
Good morning Richard, I love the photo, just missing me in a lounge chair...
I will try to be extra-ordinary! Great post reminding us to stand out from the crowd each and every day.
I'm enjoying summer, but cannot wait till fall! It's my favorite season. But the weather we're having .... I'm not complaining!
Richard: Same up here. My husband and I, late night dinners being standard, were out grilling at 9pm last night. There was that autumn-like nip in the air. And no matter how old I get, I will always associate that nip in the air with going back to school...and get the feeling in the pit of my stomach for a split second.
We are visiting in North Carolina and the weather is so nice. We expected 80 to 90 and this is quite a treat.
Richard...we are about 20 degrees below also. Not cold enough for the heat to be on, but sure saves on air conditioning.
Roy...
It is a nice day ... enjoy the rest of it! THX
Barb...
Well, you notice it, that's for sure. It really stands out. Thanks, as always.
Michael...
July has been much more pleasant here than June was ... go figure. Thanks for the comment.
I love those cool mornings in the Summer. Great photo.
No one ever tries hard to be ordinary do they? The cooler weather is certainly welcome this time of year.
Richard...can you even imagine what our summers would be like if every day was like this weekend? OMG....Atlanta and the surrounding areas, like Newnan, would be even more awesome than they already are!
I got a couple hours of pool time on Saturday, but I'm "time blocking" for the rest of the summer one afternoon EVERY week to get to the pool.....since Saturday was the first day for this year!
Here's to the return of the 90's I'm sure!
Richard, it has been an overcast day today, but we did go to the river with our dog and play in the water.
Richard you are right about providing more than ordinary service. BTW, it was beautiful here yesterday low humidity and sunny... It was exceptional just as you are my friend. That picture just makes me feel at peace for some reason. I love it.
I would imagine the cooler weather would feel wonderful... we're still in the upper 80's and 90's. That's warm for this corner of the world.
Great photo, Richard!
