Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Sometimes the climb to the top is fraught with peril, and it may require helping hands to play it safe.

The ladder to success by Richard WeisserWe all want to ascend in the ranks of our respective professions. It is, after all, the reason that we continue to read and to study about new ways of conducting business in a technological age.

But that's not to say that there will not be any bumps in the road ahead. Nor does it suggest that risks should not be undertaken.

There is rarely a golden staircase that will take you to the pinnacle of achievement, More often than not, it is metaphorically closer to a rickety ladder propped precariously against a wall.

And while one can go it alone, how much better would it be to have the ladder stabilized with the helpful hands of others that are willing to participate in our endeavor to climb to the top?

I'm just saying.

I agree. No one every gets to the top alone. Most people have dozens of others that have helped them achieve greatness.

Chad...

I think that it's a fundamental requirement for success! Thanks for the comment.

Richard, Being a fulltime realtor is kind of like a roller coaster ride, up and down, all around and FAST! I agree with what you're just saying, but how to get help is another story! Your local competitors (and even coworkers) aren't really rooting for your success, but their own.... very competitive!

I will hold your ladder if you hold mine!  Kidding aside, I think you are right.  Having support makes it easier.

very well said.  The picture is great too.  We have to make good use of the support we have around us.

One needs to build a team of real estate professionals to help get to the top. Safety is in numbers and one is only one phone call away from getting the answers.

Very well stated.  And a simple Amen is all that comes to mind.  Thanks for a very thought provoking post.

Nice picture to go along with yet another great post!

I just want the person holding the ladder for me to pay attention... (as you put it, I'm just sayin... )

I'm already not a big fan of ladders, so for me, the helping hands to steady it sounds very nice.

Marilyn...

Well, our local board is pretty good. We compete, in a friendly kind of way. Thanks for the comment.

Mel...

I knew that I could count on you! And you know that the same goes for me! ;)

Shelton...

There's nothing wrong with getting a helping hand BEFORE disaster strikes. THX.

Richard,

Great photo to depict a wonderful message. Thanks for making us stop and think about what helping hands can do for us to steady us through the lessons of life.

Richard:  No Top Producer does it all themselves.  It takes dedication and hard work of a team, informal or not, to get you there.
