Tropical mayhem and other interruptions!

Tropical mayhem and other interruptions!Last night we experienced some intense sheer wind as an offshoot of tropical depression Beryl blasted us after midnight.

Most of the vegetable garden blew over but other than that nothing very serious resulted from the roaring blasts. It was more of an inconvenience than a catastrophe.

But these little deviations from the norm play a big part in what makes life interesting and exiting.

The awe of watching the porch swing flying in midair until restrained by its tethers will mitigate the annoyance of cleaning up the leaf and branch debris and straightening up the garden.

And this morning I am enjoying the calm after the storm! It was a wild night, but it was quite the rush!

I am invigorated and ready to go!
