Memorial Day 2011. We will never forget their sacrifice.

Memorial Day 2011. We will never forget their sacrifice."All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

Memorial Day is that day that we honor those brave souls that have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

It is almost unfathomable that despite all of the social era enlightenment combined with the lessons learned from the past that it is still necessary to send brave men and women onto the battlefield at risk of life and limb to preserve our way of life.

But despite the absence of conscription, many voluntarily choose to put the interests of their country ahead of their own and accept the call of duty.

Just as the generations before them, they are the best of the best and our way of life is directly attributable to their heroism.

It is also important to remember the surviving families of the fallen, and their sacrifice as well which will continue each and every day for the rest of their lives. It is important that we let them know that above everything else:

We will never forget!
