Coweta Fayette Real Estate & Newnan Homes for sale blog by Richard Weisser of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers

Sometimes what you are seeking is closer than you think.

Fall leaves in Coweta County GAFirst and foremost, I must categorically state that I am an Autumn leaf lover. As soon as the first leaf is tinged with gold, I get the gear ready and head out in search of fall leaf pictures.

Over the years I have assembled a collection of tens of thousands of fall photographs. I travel to the mountains of North Georgia, East Tennessee andWestern North Carolina every year in an annual quest to capture fleeting autumn color in order to commit it to a permanent record.

This year I went as far as New England seeking Fall foliage but a combination of bad weather and poor timing did not yield spectacular results.

In addition, 2011 was not a great leaf year by normal standards. The shots that I got were few and far between, and overall it was a disappointing season.

So when I saw these trees across the street from our real estate office, behind the shopping center in a commercial development, it occurred to me that sometimes that which we are seeking may be closer that we think.

Often, we are so focused on FINDING something, that we overlook what is right in front of our face!

“There are none so blind as those that will not see.”

I’m glad that at least for one day, my eyes were open!
