It's Memorial Day, 2008, and it is a day of honoring those that have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our way of life.
We moan and groan about our "hard day's work" in real estate, but our trials pale in comparison to the suffering that our brave men and women of the armed forces have endured over the centuries.
It's also a day to remember that families that have lost a dear one to the cause of freedom. They live with that loss every day of their lives, and we must let them know that we support them both in spirit and in measurable, demonstrative ways.
Let's pledge to improve benefits for those that have served so well, and to take care of the families of those that have paid the highest price. It is our duty, and our honor, to dignify their efforts with our resources.
